The Global Ethic Institute at the University of Tübingen was founded in 2012. One of the main goals is to install moral and ethical values in the curriculum for business students. An other important goal is the dialog between cultures which includes religions.
The Global Ethic Institute is based on the ideas of Professor Hans Küng and the Global Ethic Foundation. Teaching his work combined with a big engagement in research, the Global Ethic Institute became an important part of the University of Tübingen. The lectures of Director Professor Claus Dierksmeier are popular with a lot of students. So are the seminars of the other teaching persons at the institute.
Including to the work at and with the University of Tübingen, the Global Ethic Institute is well-known for it’s public events. The speeches, public lectures and podium discusses are well visited by Tübingen’s citizens.
I joined the Global Ethic Institute in 2012. As student assistent I was part of the “Team Engagement”. My tasks included every kind of media coverage. I produced videos, photos, logos, flyers and posters. Also I was responsible for the institute’s website and social media accounts.
